Funeral services for David Harp will be conducted on Thursday, April 23, 2009 at 10:00AM from the Chapel of Whitson Funeral Home with Rev. Chris Reagan officiating. Burial will follow at Paran Cemetery in Overton County,TN. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 6:00-8:00PM at Whitson Funeral Home.
Mr. Harp passed away on Sunday, April 19, 2009 at the Cookeville Regional Medical Center. David was born on September 14, 1937 in Putnam County,TN to the late Willlie Clayton and Verna Whitaker Harp. David graduated from Rickman High School and served honorably in the US Army. He also retired from the Sate of Indiana. He enjoyed spending his leisure time a t flea markets, fishing, and country music. He was of the Methodist faith.
