Funeral services for Elsie L. Lewis, age 83 of Castilian Springs, TN, will be held on Tuesday September 22, 2009 at 10:00 A.M. in the Chapel of Whitson Funeral Home with burial in the Double Springs Cemetery. Rev. Johnny Carver and Rev. Ray Brown will officiate st the services.
The family will receive friends on Sunday September 20, 2009 from 2:00 P.M. till 9:00 P.M., Monday September 21, 2009 from 7:00 A.M. till 9:00 P.M. and on Tuesday September 22, 2009 from 7:00 A.M. till time of the services.
Mrs. Lewis passed away on Friday September 19, 2009 at her home.
She was born in Rockwood, TN on September 7, 1926 to the late Alexander and Lorene Spivey Carmack. Mrs. Lewis worked as a Caregiver and was a member of the New Hope Church in Westmoreland.
