Funeral services for Amel Freeman Brown will be conducted on Saturday, October 3, 2009 at 2:00PM from the Chapel of Baxter Funeral Home with burial following in Double Springs Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Baxter Funeral Home on Friday from 5:00-8:00PM and Saturday from 12:00Noon until time of the service at 2:00PM.
Mr. Brown passed away on Thursday, OCtober 1, 2009 at the Cookeville Regional Medical Center. Amel Freeman Brown was born on August 2, 1931 in Putnam County,TN to the late Ethel and Avo Boyd Brown. Mr. Brown was a carpenter and of the Jehovah Witness faith.
