Funeral services for Elbirda D. Underwood will be conducted on Sunday, October 4, 2009 at 3:00PM at Cookeville First Church of The Nazarene(360 S. Old Kentucky Road)with Rev. Kevin Thomas and Rev. James Staggs officiating. Burial will follow at Algood City Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday at the funeral home from 1:00-8:00PM and on Sunday at the church from 1:00PM until time of the service at 3:00PM.
Mrs.Underwood passed away on Friday, October 2, 2009 at her residence. Elbirda D. Underwood was born on January 27, 1927 in Putnam COunty,TN to the late Beecher Lonzo and Stella Eller McCloud. Mrs. Underwood was a homemaker and a member of the Cookeville First Church of the Nazarene.
