Funeral services for Gertrude Mitchell Brown will be conducted on Thursday, November 5, 2009 at 11:00AM at Baxter Church of Christ with Bro. Johnny Hester of Sikeston,Mo. officiating. Burial will follow at Crest Lawn Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 5:00-9:00PM and Baxter Funeral Home and Thursday from 10:00-11:00AM at the church.
Mrs. Brown passed away on Monday, November 2, 2009 at the Cookeville Regional Medical Center. Gertrude Mitchell Brown was born on May 30, 1924 in Warren County,TN to the late Mark and Olive Douglas Mitchell. She was a secretary with the school system and was a member of Baxter Church of Christ.
