Funeral services for Loyd A. Hargis, age 90 of Cookeville, will be held on Tuesday November 24, 2009 at 11:00 A.M. in the Chapel of Baxter Funeral Home with burial in the Boiling Springs Cemetery. Bro. Tommy Walker will officiate at the services.
The family will receive friends on Monday November 23, 2009 from 4:00 P.M. till 9:00 P.M. and on Tuesday November 24, 2009 from 7:00 A.M. till time of the services.
Mr. Hargis passed away on Saturday November 21, 2009 at the NHC HealthCare Center, Cookeville.
He was born on November 10, 1919 in Jackson Co., TN to the late Alvin Lee and Daisy Collier Hargis. He was a self-employed farmer and carpenter and a member of the Church of Christ Faith.
