Funeral services for Haywood Phillips, age 72 of Hilham, will be held on Thursday January 14, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. in the Chapel of Whitson Funeral Home with burial in the Aaron's Chapel Cemetery. Bro. Dewey Glenn Masters will officiate at the services.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday January 13, 2010 from 5:00 P.M. till 9:00 P.M. and on Thursday January 14, 2010 from 7:00 A.M. till time of the services.
Mr. Phillips passed away on Tuesday January 12, 2010 at the Livingston Regional Hospital.
He was born in Overton Co., TN on January 6, 1938 to the late Buren and Ethel Young Phillips. He was an Electrician with Lakeland Electric and a member of the Poplar Springs Baptist Church.

Wife: Brenda Phillips - Hilham, TN
Son & Daughter-in-law: Mark & Becky Phillips - Cookeville, TN
(2) Daughters: Missy Scott - Hilham, TN
Michelle Choate - Hilham, TN
(2) Grandsons: Kyle Scott and Colby Phillips
(1) Granddaughter: Abby Phillips
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by:

Pallbearers: Billy, Donnie, Brett, and Johnathan Sullivan,
Sam Moody, Jr., and James Neely
