Funeral services for Freeman H. Harness, age 63 of Cookeville, will be held on Sunday February 28, 2010 at 2:00 P.M. in the Chapel of Whitson Funeral Home with burial in the Sand Springs Cemetery. Bro. Nolan Cantrell and Kenny Walker will officate at the services.
The family will receive friends on Saturday February 27, 2010 from 5:00 P.M. till 9:00 P.M. and on Sunday February 28, 2010 from 7:00 A.M. till time of the services.
Mr. Harness passed away on Thursday February 25, 2010 at the Cookeville Regional Medical Center.
He was born on December 17, 1946 in Putnam Co., TN to the late Willis Edgar and Lavada Rhoton Harness. He was a supervisor at Royal Oak Charcoal. He was employed there 44 year and worked with many friends who were like family. Mr. Harness was a member of the Rocky Point Baptist Church.
