  MAGGIE LOU ARMSTRONG McDANIEL  
  Maggie Lou Armstrong McDaniel, born June 24, 1914 of Cookeville, TN, left her earthly home on March 2, 2010 while residing at Imperial Gardens in Madison, TN. Her services will be held at Whitson Funeral Home in Cookeville. Visitation will be Thursday March 4thfrom 5 till 8 PM & Friday 9 AM until service. Services will be Friday, March 5, 2010 at 2:00 PM

She was preceded by her husband Charlie H. McDaniel. Father: Otha Asbery Armstrong. Mother: Betty Allen Armstrong. Two sisters: Loreen Harris and Minnie Story

Two Brothers: Willard Armstrong and Ed Armstrong

She is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law: James Lee and Wanda McDaniel of Mt. Juliet. Walter and Faye McDaniel of Antioch, TN. Jack and Anne McDaniel of Cookeville, TN. And two daughters and sons-in-law: Janie and Darrell Johnson of Goodlettsville, TN and Helen and Jim Fey of Charlotte, North Carolina. She has nine grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren. One brother and sister-in-law: Millard and Isabelle Armstrong of Beechmont, KY

She was a volunteer for Meels on Wheels for many years and an employee of Tennessee Technological University. She was the oldest member of the Holladay Church of Christ where she attended many years. Her life was centered around her family and church and her passions were gardening and quilting. Pallbearers will be family and friends. Honorary pallbearers will be the bus drivers for the Holladay Church of Christ. Johnny Fox will officiate.
