Funeral services for Claudine Flatt, age 74 of Cookeville, Will be conducted on Wednesday, April 28,2010 at 2:00PM from the Chapel of Whitson Funeral Home with Bro. Johnny Fox and Bro. Denton Ramsey officiating. Burial will follow at Fox Cemetery in Jackson County, TN. Visitation with the family will be on Tuesday from 3:00-9:00PM and Wednesday from 12:00-2:00PM.
Mrs. Flatt passed away on Monday, April 26, 2010 at Bethesda Health Care Center. Claudine Flatt was born on July 1, 1935 in Jackson County, TN to the late Frank Cheatham and Dorothy Bennett Rhoten. She was a homemaker and a member of Holladay Church of Christ. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Robert B. Flatt, STEP SON & DAUGHTER-IN-LAW: Hollie T. (Neal Ward) Flatt, 2 SISTERS & BROTHERS-IN-LAW: Ruth (Lovell) Long, Lottie (Claude E.)Smith, 2 BROTHERS: Clarence & Jesse Rhoten, STEP-GRANDSON: Randy J. Flatt.
She is survived by 2 SONS & DAUGHTERS-IN-LAW: Terry & Annette Flatt and Mike and Judy Flatt all of Cookeville. 1 DAUGHTER: Teresa Flatt Clark of West Monroe,LA, STEP DAUGHTER & SON-IN-LAW: Opal & Virgil Medlin-Cookeville, 4 STEP SONS & DAUGHTERS-IN-LAW: Eldon J(Pearl)Flatt, James D.(Reba)Flatt, Paul(Brenda)Flatt all of Cookeville, and Willie(Jean)Flatt-Alexandria,LA.
5 GRANDCHILDREN: Freddy Clark & Christie Clark-West Monroe, LA, Justin Flatt and Fiancé Nocona Canady of Knoxville, TN, and Bryan & Joshua Flatt both of Cookeville.
